How’s LBX™ by Luxury Bazaar different from selling my watch?

When you sell your watch with LBX, we are offering you a price that we consider fair in the current market and taking into consideration processing costs, marketing costs, and how long it will take to sell the watch.

Using our LBX™ program on the other hand allows us to avoid those costs and concentrate our efforts on marketing the watch to our global client network via our website, social media, and direct contact. Once the watch is sold, we pay you the agreed-upon and guaranteed rate.

Does selling with LBX™ pay more than outright selling the watch to you?

Typically yes. Since we do not have to allocate the funds to purchasing and keeping your watch in inventory we offer you anywhere between 10% and 15% more than if we were to purchase it outright.

How long does selling with LBX™ take?

Our default term is 30 days from receipt of your watch. However, we typically are able to sell your watch within 14-20 days.

Do you charge any fees?

No. Our exclusive LBX™ program offers you a guaranteed rate before accepting your watch. We will sell the watch and pay you the agreed-upon rate without any deductions.

What happens when I accept your offer?

Once you accept the offer we provided you will choose if you prefer to receive payment via Escrow.com at which point we will set up an escrow account for you and fund it with our offer amount.
If you choose to deal with us directly then we will provide you with an insured shipping label to send us the watch for inspection, once the watch sells, we will pay you directly via bank wire or check.

Can I counter-offer the LBX offer?

Typically we offer the highest amount we believe the market is for that specific watch. However, if you would like to counter-offer, you may do so, and maybe something can be worked out.

What happens if my package is lost, stolen, or damaged?

The shipping label we provide you is fully insured for the offer amount. This means that if your watch is lost, or stolen during shipping you are insured for the full amount quoted for your watch.
We will assist with all claim information if that were to happen.

How do I ship the watch to you?

We’ll send you an insured FedEx overnight label. Wrap the watch in something protective such as bubble wrap or some padded material and then place that box inside a bigger box with some padding such as newspapers, folded-up cardboard, or anything that can keep the smaller box stable.
You can also take the watch to your nearest FedEx store and ask them to pack it securely. For security purposes, do not disclose the contents or value of this shipment when dropping off your package at the FedEx store.

How long is the offer good for?

Due to the volatility of the watch market today, our offers are good for a maximum of 48 hours from the time of receipt.

Do boxes and paperwork for the watch affect the offer price?

The simple answer is yes. Having the original items the watch came with can sometimes seriously increase the offer price for certain watch models.

How does LBX determine the price of my watch?

Our watch appraisers keep their finger on the pulse of the market and even though some models can change prices a few times a day, we offer the best rate at the time of offer.

Does LBX buy watches from outside the USA?

Yes, we do. Please make sure to mention that in the offer request so that we are aware of it.

What happens after I ship my watch?

Our system will provide you with constant status updates the minute the item leaves your hands.

Once we receive the watch you will be notified and our watchmakers will inspect the watch.

You will be notified once they are finished and if the watch condition matches your description or if a revised offer is necessary.

Do I need to submit a picture of my driver license or ID to sell you a watch?

Yes, upon offer acceptance and the watch shipping, we will ask you to send us a picture of your driver’s license or government-issued Identification along with your current address.

We do this to safeguard ourselves in case the watch is reported stolen.

Where can I sell my watch near me?

Selling your watch locally limits you to the watchmakers and jewelers near you that are in the business of purchasing from the public and limits the amount you sell it for to what they’re offering. Whereas selling your watch via LBX provides a much more competitive quote and the opportunity to sell, consign, or trade-in your watch.

How much can I get for my watch?

Your watch’s value is determined by the brand, model, condition, date, what’s included with the watch, and lastly the market demand for the specific watch.

How do I sell my watch online?

It’s really simple and secure. Complete the form telling us about your watch, its condition, and what’s included with it. Our buying team will evaluate it and if they are currently buying that brand/model they will provide you with an offer for sale and/or consignment directly through our app.

You can then accept the offer, counteroffer, decline, or communicate directly with your assigned team member via the app.

Once the offer has been accepted, a shipping label will be provided for you to send in your watch where it will be evaluated by our in-house watchmaker to confirm that it matches your original description. Upon approval, your payment will be sent to you via the payment method you chose.
