Laurent Ferrier Timeline
2009 – After working at Patek Philippe for decades, third-generation watchmaker and semi-professional racecar driver Laurent Ferrier founds his own eponymous watch brand, bankrolled by friend and fellow former racer François Servanin.
2010 – Laurent Ferrier’s very first release, the Galet Classic Tourbillon Double Spiral, wins the GPHG award for best men’s watch.
2015 – “Square” case debuts for the first time. Most collectors would call it a cushion case.
2019 – Bridge One model is released, featuring an aggressive rectangular case shape with shaped lugs.
2020 – A new series of limited-edition colorful online-only watches called “Série Atelier” debuts.
2021 – The Laurent Ferrier x Revolution and The Rake Classic Micro-Rotor collab is released with a salmon sector dial with Breguet numerals. 12 examples were made.
2022 – The Sport Auto becomes the first Laurent Ferrier watch with a metal bracelet.
2023 – The Grand Sport, with a new larger 44mm diameter, wins the GPHG category for best tourbillon watch.
