For 2024, Vacheron Constantin has illustrated its wide-ranging appeal by releasing a variety of new watch models. From special anniversary Patrimony editions and sporty green Overseas models to spectacular craftsmanship within the Metier d’Art line and ultra-complicated Traditionnelle Tourbillon Chronograph, the latest 2024 watches from Vacheron Constantin demonstrate the watchmaker’s versatile ability to keep it simple, dress it up, or put on a full mechanical show to cater to an assortment of tastes. The “Holy Trinity” member also unveiled the world’s most complicated timepiece, flaunting its incredible master of high horology. 2024 Vacheron Constantin Overseas Models
No surprises here but Vacheron Constantin continues to expand its popular sporty Overseas collection with an assortment of new models.
New Green Dials
Green is quickly becoming a staple color across all luxury watch brand catalogs, occupying a space next to go-to shades like blue, black, silver, and champagne. Vacheron Constantin is apparently not immune to the green watch trend; for 2024, the brand has unveiled a slate of new pink gold Overseas models, all furnished with green-lacquered, sunburst satin-finished dials.
The first of the four is the Overseas Self-Winding ref. 4605V/200R-B969 with a 35mm case and a diamond-set bezel. Next in line is the Overseas Self-Winding Ref. 4520V/210R-B967 with a 41mm case, powered by the automatic Caliber 5100. Vacheron also released the Overseas Dual Time ref. 7920V/210R-B965, also featuring a 41mm pink case. And finally, there’s the Overseas Chronograph ref. 5520V/210R-B966 with a 42.5mm case and tri-compax dial.
As is customary for Overseas watches, these pink gold and green variants come with three interchangeable straps: a pink gold integrated bracelet, a green rubber strap, and a green alligator strap.

Titanium Overseas Tourbillon
In 2022, Vacheron Constantin unveiled a titanium Overseas Tourbillon watch with a skeletonized dial— the first in the collection made (almost) entirely of titanium. At Watches & Wonders 2024, the brand expands on this idea with a full titanium Overseas Tourbillon watch but this time, sporting a beautiful blue dial.
Titanium’s properties, which include being 30% stronger than steel but only half its weight, make it an ideal metal for a sports watch. I wouldn’t be surprised if Vacheron continues to add more titanium models to the Overseas collection in the future, including a non-complicated time and date model.
As always, the integrated titanium bracelet of the latest titanium Overseas Tourbillon can be switched out with the additional blue calfskin and blue rubber straps that accompany the set.

Overseas Quartz 33mm
The easy-to-wear Overseas Quartz 33mm collection welcomed two new models in 2024, both in pink gold with diamonds on the bezel. One version includes a silver dial and the other, a blue denim-inspired dial.
Both versions come equipped with a matching pink gold integrated bracelet; however, the silver dial version also includes white rubber and leather straps whereas the blue edition is accompanied by denim blue calfskin leather and rubber straps.

2024 Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Models
The Patrimony, which is Vacheron Constantin’s elegant dress watch collection, celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2024. As such, the brand has come out with a few models to honor the occasion.
Ora ïto Anniversary Patrimony
Limited to 100 pieces, Vacheron Constantin collaborated with designer Ora ïto to produce an anniversary Patrimony in yellow gold. The 40mm case is home to a concentric circle dial, also in yellow gold. Ora ïto explains, “This circular movement of light refers to the Baily Pearls, a spectacular phenomenon that accompanies an eclipse of the sun by the moon”.
The monochromatic watch is paired with a burgundy calfskin strap, fitted with the customary half-Maltese cross buckle in yellow gold. The sapphire caseback reveals the Caliber 2450 Q6 self-winding movement inside the case, which drives the trio of hands at the center of the dial, in addition to the date window at 6 o’clock.

Anniversary Patrimony Manual-Winding
The 2024 Patrimony Manual Winding 39mm is available in either white gold with an olive-green strap or in pink gold with a light blue leather strap. Both versions feature a vintage-inspired dial color that Vacheron calls “old-silver-toned” and the brand shaved off a millimeter to make these versions 39mm in diameter and a slender 7.7 mm thick. Inside the case is the in-house Caliber 1440 hand-wound movement, supplying the watch with 42 hours of power reserve.

Anniversary Patrimony Moon Phase Retrograde Date
The 2024 Patrimony Moon Phase Retrograde Date features a 42.5mm white gold case, paired with the same retro-inspired “old-silver toned” dial. This particular version comes fitted with an olive-green alligator leather strap with a calfskin inner shell, tone-on-tone stitching, and a white gold half-Maltese cross-shaped buckle.
Like previous versions of the Patrimony Moon Phase Retrograde Date, the 20th-anniversary model includes a moon phase indicator at 6 o’clock and retrograde date display arching at the top of the dial — powered by the self-winding Caliber 2460 R31L movement with 40 hours of power reserve.

2024 Vacheron Constantin Métiers d’Art Models
The Métiers d’Art collection, which is where Vacheron Constantin flaunts its decorative, artistic, and craftmanship techniques, added a few new models in 2024.
The Legend of the Chinese Zodiac – Year of the Snake
As is tradition, Vacheron Constantin created a special watch in honor of the Chinese Zodiac — next year will be the Year of the Snake. The Métiers d’Art Year of the Snake is available in pink gold or platinum, both limited to 25 examples. Utilizing the dials as canvases, the in-house artisans combined engraving and enameling to create life-like depictions of a cobra.
Framing the serpent at the center is a quartet of apertures, each serving to indicate the hours, minutes, day of the week, and date — all possible thanks to the Caliber 2460 G4.

Métiers d’Art Tribute to Traditional Symbols
Another Métiers d’Art capsule collection dedicated to Chinese culture is a series of four limited-edition watches (15 examples each) created in collaboration with the Former Associate Research Librarian of the Palace Museum housed in Beijing’s Forbidden City. The motifs featured on the dials are two interpretations of the “Seawater Cliff”, a decorative symbol specific to the imperial court of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
The first two editions are called Eternal Flow and include colorful cloisonné enameled and engraved dials housed inside 38mm cases with bezels hand-engraved with a bat — a sign of good fortune in Chinese culture. The next two, called Moonlight Slivers, have a more subdued color palette, yet sparkle intensely thanks to 239 brilliant-cut diamonds. The cases also measure 38mm but include a diamond-set bezel.

Fiftysix Self-Winding
Positioned as Vacheron Constantin’s entry-level model, the Fiftysix made its debut in 2018, inspired by — you guessed it — a vintage piece from 1956. In 2024, a new iteration joined the collection in the form of a pink gold Fiftysix watch with a black dial. As is customary for time and date Fiftysix models, the case measures 40mm in diameter, the lugs draw inspiration from the Maltese crown, the sapphire crystal is box style, and the dial is a sector design.

Les Cabinotiers – The Berkley Grand Complication
Boasting 63 horological complications and 2,877 components, the Vacheron Constantin Berkley Grand Complication smashes the watchmaker’s own record of the most complicated timepiece in the world (previously held by the Vacheron Constantin Reference 57260).
The Berkley Grand Complication is the world’s first Chinese perpetual calendar; the Chinese lunisolar calendar is replete with irregularities and complexities, all of which Vacheron had to take into consideration when developing the timepiece. It took the company 11 years to develop the Berkley Grand Complication, including one whole year just for assembly.
The watch is named after the man who commissioned the watch, William R. Berkley, the billionaire founder and current chairman of W. R. Berkley Corporation. He’s also the owner of the Vacheron Constantin ref. 57260, now the world’s second most complicated timepiece.
The 63 complications of Berkley Grand Complication are divided into the following categories:

Traditionnelle Tourbillon Chronograph Collection Excellence Platine
Limited to just 50 pieces, the Traditionnelle Tourbillon Chronograph Collection Excellence Platine watch that Vacheron Constantin launched in 2024 was clearly designed with serious collectors in mind.
While this isn’t the first Traditionnelle Tourbillon Chronograph by Vacheron Constantin, (that honor goes to the pink gold version unveiled in 2020) it is the first made in platinum. As a result, its 42.5mm platinum case (and platinum dial, crown, and clasp) gains the watch an entry into the Collection Excellence Platin, the company’s line of limited edition platinum timepieces that debuted in 2006.
The tourbillon is placed at 12 o’clock, which is not traditionally where we see the whirling mechanism while the duo of counters for the chronograph take their positions at 3 and 6 o’clock. The back of the watch offers a view of the stunning Caliber 3200 manual-winding movement that powers the piece, complete with the Geneva Hallmark.

Grand Lady Kalla
Vacheron Constantin presented a lavish take on the jewelry watch: a convertible piece that can be worn as a bejeweled wristwatch or as a pendant watch on a long necklace.
It’s called the Grand Lady Kalla and the watch case can be switched out with a diamond-set jewel element via an interchangeable system. As such, the wearer can decide whether to place the watch case into the diamond-set bracelet or the pearl, diamond, and onyx sautoir necklace.
The entire set boasts 268 diamonds for a total of 46.65 carats, including a GIA-certified center emerald diamond that’s over 2 carats.

Vacheron Constantin 2024 Watch Releases
That covers all the Vacheron Constantin 2024 introductions, which include a mix of sport, dress, jewelry, and complicated watches. Broadly speaking, Vacheron Constantin stuck to releasing existing models in either different metals or fresh colorways. Aside from the Grand Lady Kalla which caters to a very specific audience and the Berkley Grand Complication, which Mr. Berkley commissioned, there isn’t anything entirely new from Vacheron Constantin in 2024.
Focusing on line extensions seems to be the ongoing theme for many brands this year; I suppose everyone is trying to play it safe(r) during a somewhat tumultuous time in the industry.
